1. Sports Qualification & Order of Preference:
- First Preference: Represented India in an International Competition with clearance from Dept. of Youth Affairs & Sports.
- Second Preference: Represented State/UT in Senior/Junior National Championships/Games (medal/position up to 3rd). Senior Nationals preferred.
- Third Preference: Represented University in Inter-University competition (medal/position up to 3rd).
- Fourth Preference: Participation without a medal at State/UT/University level (in above categories).
- Fifth Preference: Represented State Schools in National School Games (medal/position up to 3rd).
- Sixth Preference: Awarded National Award in physical efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026):
- For General & OBC candidates: 18 – 28 years (Born not earlier than 01 Jan 1998 and not later than 01 Jan 2008).
- For SC & ST candidates: 18 – 33 years (Born not earlier than 01 Jan 1993 and not later than 01 Jan 2008).
3. Essential Educational Qualification:
