Educational Qualification & Experience
- Education: A Law degree or equivalent from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Experience: At least three years of experience as a legal practitioner (Advocate) in the Bar as of 23.02.2026. Experience as a Law Clerk with a judge is also counted.

- Minimum Age: 22 years (as of 01.08.2025).
- Maximum Age: 35 years (as of 01.08.2022).
- Age Relaxation: Reserved category candidates and women (including UR women) have an upper age limit of 40 years.

BPSC Bihar Judicial Services Selection Process
The selection involves three stages:
- Preliminary Exam (Objective): Two papers—General Studies (100 marks) and Law (150 marks).
- Mains Exam (Subjective): Compulsory papers include General Hindi, General English, General Knowledge, Elementary General Science, and Law of Evidence & Procedure. Candidates must also choose three elective subjects from the provided list.
- Interview: 100 marks. Candidates must score at least 35% to be considered.
