IRCON Apprentice Eligibility 2026

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate Apprentice: Graduate in relevant Engineering/Technology discipline (Civil, Electrical, S&T).
  • Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Diploma in relevant Engineering/Technology discipline (Civil, Electrical, S&T).

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2026. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates.

Other Conditions: Candidates must not have more than 3 years gap after passing their qualifying examination (i.e., passed in or after 2023). Those with one year or more of job/training experience are not eligible.

IRCON Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as follows:

  • Graduate Apprentices: ₹10,000 per month (including DBT of ₹4,500)
  • Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹8,500 per month (including DBT of ₹4,000)

IRCON Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection will be merit-based. There will be no interview. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on marks obtained in their essential educational qualification. A merit list will be prepared and published on the IRCON website.
